Al-Khaleej Club ended the group stage of the 27th Asian Men's Club League Handball Championship undefeated, securing 8 points and the top spot in Group 2 after a dominant 40-19 win over Ahli Sidab.

Dammam, November 19, 2024 – Al-Khaleej Club's first handball team has concluded the group stage of the 27th Asian Men's Club League Handball Championship in dominant fashion, maintaining a perfect record. Their latest victory, a resounding 40-19 win against Oman's Ahli Sidab, underscored the team’s exceptional form and secured their position at the top of Group 2 with 8 points. This accomplishment guarantees them a spot in the quarterfinals, where they will face Bahrain's Al-Shabab tomorrow at 7 pm.


From the outset, Al-Khaleej demonstrated complete control over the match against Ahli Sidab, ending the first half with a commanding 19-8 lead. The team’s relentless pace and high-caliber play carried through to the second half, ensuring a decisive victory.


Al-Khaleej’s performance throughout the group stage has been marked by consistent excellence, starting with a solid win over Iran’s Mes Kerman, followed by a strong showing against Kuwait’s Kazma and a critical triumph over Qatar’s Al-Duhail.
