
Riyadh, February 15, 2025 – The King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) has granted two technological licenses to Al-Saif Engineers and Contractors for the commercialization of modular construction technologies and carbon nanotube pipe technologies. This strategic move was announced on Tuesday during the Public Investment Fund and Private Sector Forum, reflecting KACST’s commitment to driving innovation and fostering the commercialization of cutting-edge research.As Saudi Arabia’s national laboratory and innovation hub, KACST plays a pivotal role in transforming research and development (R&D) initiatives into economically viable products.
The granting of these licenses is part of a broader effort to maximize the impact of scientific advancements, expand applications of deep technology, enhance local content, and elevate the competitiveness of national industries.The licensed Modular Construction Technologies and Nanotube Pipes projects align closely with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals, particularly in the advancement of the construction sector.
