Tirana, March 1, 2024, Albanian President Bajram Begaj recently engaged in discussions with a delegation representing the Federation of Saudi Chambers, headed by Hassan bin Mujeb Al-Huwaizi, to explore investment prospects in Albania.
During the meeting, President Begaj extended an invitation to Saudi investors, urging them to consider investing in Albania and assuring them of his personal commitment to safeguarding their investments within the country.
Moreover, President Begaj underscored Albania's aspirations to attain European Union membership and highlighted its active involvement in numerous international organizations. He emphasized Albania's capacity to accommodate business ventures, economic activities, and investments.
Conversely, the President of the Federation of Saudi Chambers unveiled plans to establish a collaborative Saudi-Albanian business council and deliberated on strategies to incentivize Saudi investments in Albania.
Discussions also revolved around aligning Albania's economic objectives with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and exploring potential investment opportunities for Saudi entrepreneurs across various sectors, including agriculture, tourism, mining, and construction.
