Doha, November 22, 2023, Albara Alaskandarani, the Undersecretary for International Economic Affairs at the Ministry of Economy and Planning, participated in the 10th meeting of the Senior Officials Committee of the GCC Economic and Development Affairs Authority. The meeting occurred at Qatar's Expo 2023 Doha International Horticultural Exhibition.
The primary focus of the meeting was to strengthen economic cooperation among Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states. The committee also undertook a comprehensive review of the progress in implementing the decisions made by the Supreme Council concerning the fulfillment of requirements for the completion of the Gulf common market.
