Algiers, October 23, 2023, Ali Aoun, the Algerian Minister of Industry and Pharmaceutical Production, met with Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Baseer, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's ambassador to the Republic of Algeria, and representatives from Jamjoom Pharmaceuticals Factory Company (Jamjoom Pharma). They discussed topics of interest during the discussion, such as strategies to work together on investments in the pharmaceutical industry. Both parties discussed Jamjoom-Algeria Pharma's aim to increase its investments in the Algerian market by producing eye drops and dermatological medications, according to a statement from the Algerian ministry. In September, its manufacturer sold more than 700,000 boxes of medication, including antibiotics and remedies for allergies and heart conditions.
