The Saudi Automotive Market has officially welcomed the all-new JMC Grand Avenue pickup truck following its launch at the showroom of its official dealer in the Kingdom, Aljabr Trading Company. A ceremony was held in Dammam to mark this significant occasion, attended by Mr. Cho Thien Ngo, Chairman of Jiangling Motors Corporation (JMCG), and officials from the manufacturing company.
Characterized by its robust and distinctive design, the Grand Avenue features a dual five-passenger cabin and is powered by a 2.3-liter turbocharged diesel engine generating 130 kilowatts (177 horsepower) and a torque of 400 to 450 Newton meters. It offers both automatic and manual transmission systems with options for two-wheel and four-wheel drive, boasting a wheelbase of 3270 millimeters. The interior design is highlighted by luxurious touches, with two color options for interior decoration: black with gray or beige with blue.
The Grand Avenue prioritizes driver and passenger comfort, featuring a 10-inch touchscreen entertainment display and a 3.5-inch screen in the gauge cluster for control and cruise functions. JMC has introduced a smooth and distinctive gearshift lever with shift by wire technology for the automatic transmission.
Safety is a key focus, with the Grand Avenue equipped with front and side airbags, ISOFIX child seat locks, child safety locks for the rear doors, and an electric handbrake (depending on each model). The pickup truck also offers front LED lighting and leather seats in the four-wheel-drive variant with automatic transmission.
