Riyadh, October 24, 2024 — In a remarkable achievement for Saudi sports, Mohammed Alnasfan, a promising young squash player, secured the under-17 title at the Doha Asian Squash Junior Open, which took place in Qatar from October 19 to 21. This prestigious tournament attracted talented participants from 10 countries, showcasing some of the best emerging talent in the sport.


In a thrilling final match, Alnasfan faced off against Yahya Elabyad of Egypt, demonstrating his skill and determination by winning decisively with a 3-0 score. This victory not only highlights Alnasfan's exceptional abilities but also marks another milestone in his rapidly progressing career.


Following the victory, Adel Al-Aqili, President of the Saudi Squash Federation, extended his heartfelt congratulations to Alnasfan. He praised the young athlete for his talent and consistent success on the international stage. Alnasfan’s triumph at the Doha Asian Squash Junior Open follows his recent achievements, including winning the Nordic Junior Open 2024 title in Sweden and the Danish Junior Open 2024 under-17 title, establishing him as a formidable contender in junior squash competitions.
