London, February 10, 2024, The Saudi Royal Commission for AlUla, in collaboration with the Catmosphere foundation, orchestrated a commemorative event at London Zoo, the world's oldest scientific zoo, to honor the inaugural International Day of the Arabian Leopard. Participating in the festivities were the Saudi Embassy in the United Kingdom, alongside the Saudi Arabian Cultural Bureau in the UK and its student clubs.
The event encompassed a diverse range of activities tailored to various age groups, including an educational Catwalk aimed at raising awareness among attendees. Speaking at the celebration, Hassan Saeed Al-Jomae, Deputy Saudi Ambassador in London, underscored the significance of this day as a pivotal moment in uniting efforts to safeguard the Arabian leopard.
Al-Jomae highlighted the enduring presence of the Arabian leopard, which spans centuries, emphasizing its profound importance as an integral component of Saudi Arabia's rich heritage.
