AlUla, Saudi Arabia, January 9, 2024, AlUla Moments has revealed details for the upcoming third annual Richard Mille AlUla Desert Polo, set to take place from January 17 to 20. In partnership with the Saudi Polo Federation (SPF), the tournament will feature eight teams competing for the Desert Polo trophy in the Equestrian Village. Notably, the player roster includes professional female players for the first time, adding an extra layer of excitement to the event.
The tournament, held in the unique setting of the AlUla desert, has attracted top-tier players and international patrons, solidifying AlUla's position as a global destination for equestrian events. Among the notable players is Argentina's Adolfo Cambiaso, widely regarded as one of the greatest polo players of all time. Cambiaso will be joined by other top players, including Juan Martin Nero, David Stirling, Pablo Mac Donough, and female players Lia Salvo and Mia Cambiaso.
