Riyadh, January 17, 2025 – The Chairman of the Saudi Polo Federation, Amr Zedan, has officially unveiled the six teams set to compete in the 2025 Richard Mille AlUla Desert Polo Championship. This highly anticipated event, now in its fourth edition, marks a significant milestone as it is officially accredited by the International Polo Federation for the first time. The championship will take place in AlUla on January 17–18, 2025, in collaboration with the Royal Commission for AlUla and under the distinguished presence of Piero Dillier, President of the International Polo Federation.
The participating teams for this year’s tournament are AlUla, Richard Mille, Dadan, Budget, Bentley, and Ikmah. Divided into two competitive groups, Group 1 features AlUla, Dadan, and Ikmah, while Group 2 includes Bentley, Budget, and Richard Mille. The matches will be hosted at the iconic Fursan Village, which has been meticulously prepared to accommodate the players and provide an unparalleled experience for both competitors and spectators.
Adding to the event’s prestige, the tournament will showcase international polo stars, including the legendary Adolfo Cambiaso, widely regarded as the greatest polo player in history. Additionally, Prince Sultan bin Khalid bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz will bring his exceptional talent to the field, further elevating the level of competition and excitement.
