ALULA, March 27, 2025: The Arabian Warrior, the premier Middle Eastern obstacle course race series, is set to make history with its inaugural event in AlUla.

The race will be held against the stunning backdrop of one of Saudi Arabia’s most iconic historical sites, with over 1,500 participants, including several internationally recognized OCR athletes, expected to take part.

Event highlights include:

- Two days of exciting competition: Featuring elite 10-km and 20-km races for both men and women, two elite team races in a 50-km ultra-endurance format, a dynamic 5-km team race, along with open categories for 5-km, 10-km, and 20-km distances.

- KSA Schools Championships: Encouraging youth participation with races for under-13 teams and 13+ teams.

- Immersive camping experience: Participants will enjoy three nights under the stars, with options for glamping and traditional camping. Travel packages tailored for racers looking to explore AlUla beyond the event are available from Discover Saudi and Nirvana Europe tour operators.

The Arabian Warrior series has seen tremendous growth since its launch in 2024. Following successful events in Jeddah in December, Riyadh in January 2025, and Half Moon Beach in Dammam on February 15, 2025, the AlUla event is set to take the series to new heights.

In partnership with AlUla Moments and the Saudi Sports for All Federation, the Arabian Warrior aims to promote fitness and foster community engagement throughout the Kingdom.
