AlUla, September 02, 2023, The first "AlUla World Archeology Summit," which will take place from September 13 to 15, has released a list of the local and international speakers and attendees planned to attend.

The summit's sessions and conversations will feature more than 80 speakers, 300 specialists, as well as participants who are interested in antiquities and cultural heritage, in addition to several government and non-governmental organizations, international organizations, and media professionals.

The summit's main topic will be archaeology, which makes discoveries all around the world.

It is one of the initiatives of the Royal Commission for AlUla, which is in charge of overseeing AlUla's overall development as a premier tourist destination with regard to its cultural and natural assets. The summit aims to advance humanity by utilizing the knowledge gathered from both cultural legacy and scientific advancement, which helps the kingdom realize its Vision 2030 objectives.

In order to develop shared visions and solutions motivated by cultural heritage, speakers and participants will participate in exploratory trips to important heritage sites in AlUla. These trips will offer a global forum for scientific discussion and collaboration as well as for tackling current issues in global archaeology.

As this most significant location and archaeological site recounts the history of human civilizations, the Royal Commission for AlUla hopes to highlight the various historical, geographical, and heritage attractions through the summit, organize conferences that place AlUla on the map of the most significant historical sites worldwide, and foster partnerships with international organizations.
