Sakaka, September 28, 2023, Ambassador Fumio Iwai of Japan delivered a public lecture titled "Experience of Japan through Meiji Restoration" at the Abdurahman Al-Sudeiri Culture Center in Sakaka, Al-Jouf Region. During his presentation, Ambassador Iwai explored Japan's historical social and economic reforms, drawing parallels with Saudi Arabia's ongoing dynamic transformations in industry, culture, and human resources development. The lecture also featured an interactive Q&A session with the audience.
Before the lecture, Ambassador Iwai met with Prince Faisal bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Al-Jouf province, and visited A
l-Jouf University. There, he engaged with Dr. Mohammed bin Mufrij Al-Huwaiti, the university's president, as well as representatives of the local chamber of commerce and the Nawwaf Al-Rashed Heritage Museum.
