The Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula OneTM Team (AMF1) has appointed SAUDIA, the national flag carrier of Saudi Arabia, as its Official Global Airline Partner beginning with the 2023 season. With the signing of two-time World Champion Fernando Alonso to compete with Lance Stroll in the FIA Formula One World Championship in 2023, Executive Chairman Lawrence Stroll made his ambitions for AMF1 known.
The team made a wonderful start to the season with Fernando taking a sensational podium at the season opening in Bahrain on March 5, 2023, following an outstanding performance during preseason testing. With SAUDIA on board and Lance placing sixth, the team has a lot of potential in the future.
