In a display of leadership and authority, Ayman Al-Sayari, the esteemed governor of the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) and chairman of the Anti-Money Laundering Permanent Committee (AMLPC), took charge of the meeting.

During the meeting, the focus was on exploring avenues of collaboration and synchronization among the permanent committees in the Kingdom. The primary objective was to enhance the capabilities of relevant public and private entities.

During the meeting, participants emphasized the unwavering commitment of the permanent committees to uphold international standards and meet the requirements set forth by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF).

In a significant development, the Permanent Committee for Combating Terrorism and its Financing, operating under the esteemed Presidency of State Security, joined forces with the Standing Committee for Legal Assistance Requests, a key division within the Ministry of Interior. The two entities actively participated in a crucial meeting, underscoring their commitment to tackling the pressing issue of terrorism.
