Riyadh, September 13, 2023, Maria da Piedade de Jesus, the state minister for tourism and culture of Angola, paid a visit to the CDF's Riyadh headquarters. She visited with Mohammed bin Dayel, the CDF CEO, during her visit. The goal of this visit was to better understand the CDF's function as a significant source of funding for the cultural sector, the programs it oversees, and potential avenues for cultural exchange between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Angola. It also aimed to establish contacts with relevant Angolan organizations in this regard. A review of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 goals and aspirations for developing a diversified economy was also included in the conference. The Kingdom's endeavors to invest in the cultural sector, attract both domestic and foreign investments to support the international distribution of cultural content, and establish Saudi Arabia as a significant global cultural influencer are helping to achieve these goals.
