Riyadh, September 25, 2023, Ahmed Al-Suwailem, CEO of the National Center for Non-Profit Sector Development, has granted approval for the establishment of Riyadh's inaugural professional music society. Musician Mamdouh Saif will lead as president, supported by Vice President Prince Saud bin Abdulmajeed bin Saud, Financial Supervisor Ahmed Abu Bakr Belfkih, and board members Saleh Al-Shadi and Imad Zarie. The society's mission is to elevate the music sector, foster creativity and sustainability, attract and support professionals, provide training and resources, acknowledge artistic achievements, and facilitate industry networking. It is one of 16 nonprofit professional societies established as part of the Ministry of Culture's non-profit sector strategy, endorsed by Minister of Culture Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan.
