Riyadh, September 20, 2023, Assistant Supervisor General for Planning and Development at the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) Aqeel Al-Ghamdi met with Azerbaijani Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Shahin Abdullayev today at the center headquarters in Riyadh to discuss humanitarian and relief issues. Al-Ghamdi briefed the ambassador on KSrelief's volunteer programs in the domains of medicine, education, and training and provided a summary of KSrelief's 2,501 relief and humanitarian projects undertaken to date in 94 countries at a value of over $6 billion. Over a million people have benefited from these 424 programs, he claimed, spread over 35 nations. Abdullayev lauded Saudi Arabia's humanitarian leadership and KSrelief's dedication to helping those in need.
