Cairo, March 21, 2025, The Council of the Arab League held an extraordinary session at the level of permanent representatives on Wednesday at the league’s General Secretariat in Cairo.
The meeting focused on Arab and international efforts to pressure Israel to stop its aggression and crimes against the Palestinian people.
Saudi Arabia was represented by Deputy Permanent Representative Fahad bin Khalid Al-Khamali.
The session addressed a request from Palestine for Arab and international action against Israel’s renewed aggression, including crimes against humanity, genocide, and ethnic cleansing.
Participants also discussed the impact of Israel’s actions, such as cutting electricity to the Gaza Strip and blocking the entry of humanitarian aid.
