Cairo, January 22, 2024, At the request of Palestine and other Arab governments, the Extraordinary Session of the Arab League Council was opened today in Cairo.
The head of the Saudi mission is Ambassador Abdulaziz Al-Mattar, the Permanent Representative of Saudi Arabia to the Arab League.
The council will discuss the atrocities committed by Israel against the Palestinian people as well as the diplomatic, legal, political, and economic actions that can be taken in order to further Palestinian interests.
