Cairo, August 16, 2023, In a recent development, the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, had the privilege of receiving a telephone call from none other than the esteemed Ukrainian Foreign Minister, Dmytro Kuleba. In a statement released today, the Arab League addressed the ongoing Ukrainian crisis and the global initiatives being undertaken to find a resolution. During the call, the issue of Ukraine's export challenges, particularly in the grain sector, was discussed. This comes in the wake of Russia's decision to halt the operations of the Black Sea Grain Initiative, further exacerbating the situation.
