On the International Day of Charity, which was observed on September 5, the Arab Parliament released a statement noting that many nations around the world face a significant challenge in eradicating all forms of poverty, and that the UN seeks to accomplish this goal in order to achieve sustainable development. Additionally, it advocated for implementing and localizing the culture of humanitarian action in order to unite the efforts of all government, private and civil society organizations to combat poverty.
