Arab Parliament Speaker offers condolences to Iraq after wedding hall fire

Riyadh, September 27, 2023, Adel Al-Asoomi, Speaker of the Arab Parliament, sent his condolences and expressions of great sorrow to the people and government of Iraq following the unfortunate fire incident at a wedding hall in Nineveh province, northern Iraq. Al-Asoomi sent his condolences to the families of the deceased and hoped those who were hurt would make a quick recovery. According to local health officials quoted by the Iraqi News Agency on Wednesday, the fire left at least 100 people dead and 150 injured.
