Cairo, December 2, 2024 – In a statement issued today, the Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Mohammed Ahmed Al Yamahi, lauded the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s successful bid to host the 2034 FIFA World Cup, describing it as the highest-rated bid in the history of the global event. Al Yamahi expressed immense pride and enthusiasm over this remarkable achievement, highlighting its significance not only for Saudi Arabia but also for the entire Arab world.


Al Yamahi emphasized that securing the World Cup represents a monumental success for the Arab region in its ongoing efforts to host major global events.
