Aramco partners with FIFA for four years, global energy influence expands

Dhahran, April 25, 2024, Aramco, a prominent player in the global energy and chemicals sector, has recently announced a significant four-year partnership with FIFA, the international football association, as detailed in a press release from Aramco.

Under this partnership, Aramco has secured the position of FIFA's major worldwide partner exclusively in the energy category, granting sponsorship rights for various events, notably the FIFA World Cup 26™ and FIFA Women's World Cup 2027™. This collaboration is slated to continue until the end of 2027 and is founded on a shared dedication to innovation, development, and community engagement.

Aramco's President and CEO, Amin H. Nasser, expressed the company's commitment to leveraging football's extensive global reach to drive impactful social initiatives across the globe. He highlighted Aramco's track record in supporting various sports endeavors, including partnerships with the Saudi football team Al-Qadsiah, women's golf through the Aramco Team Series, and backing F1 in schools. FIFA President Gianni Infantino welcomed Aramco into FIFA's esteemed family of global partners, emphasizing the significance of this partnership in successfully organizing FIFA's flagship tournaments and providing enhanced support to FIFA's member associations worldwide.
