Riyadh, May 12, 2024, Units from the Saudi Armed Forces are participating in the “Eager Lion 2024” military drill, which will be held in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan from May 12-23, with the participation of the armies of 31 countries.
The head of the Saudi Armed Forces Education and Training Authority, Maj. Gen. Adel Al-Balawi, explained that the exercise aims to exchange expertise and train on planning and implementing joint operations and missile air defense operations, in addition to implementing counter-terrorism and maritime security operations to confront regional threats.
The Armed Forces, represented by the General Staff, the Joint Forces Command, and the branches of the armed forces (land, air, sea, and air defense), are participating in the “Eager Lion 2024” exercise with actual forces, planning officers, and observer officers.
