Arrival of the UAE's Foreign Affairs Minister and Deputy Prime Minister in Riyadh

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, arrived in Riyadh to participate in the expanded ministerial meeting on Syria, hosted by Saudi Arabia.

Riyadh, January 12, 2025 – In a notable diplomatic visit, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, arrived in Riyadh on Saturday to participate in the expanded ministerial meeting on Syria, hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This high-level meeting is part of ongoing regional efforts to address the Syrian crisis and promote constructive dialogue between key international and regional stakeholders.


Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed was warmly received at King Khalid International Airport by Eng. Waleed bin Abdulkarim El-Khereiji, the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia. The reception highlights the strong diplomatic ties between Saudi Arabia and the UAE, further underscoring the significance of the expanded meeting, which seeks to explore practical solutions to the complex challenges facing Syria and the wider region.
