S&P/ASX 200 in Sydney decreased by around 0.1% to 7,024.80.
Benchmark U.S. crude increased by 61 cents to $94.29 a barrel in the energy market. The benchmark crude, Brent, increased by 61 cents to $97.16 a barrel.
The American dollar dropped in currency trading from 149.63 Japanese yen to 149.32 yen. The price of a euro increased from $1.0509 to $1.05.
