Riyadh, April 13, 2024, Yesterday, Assistant Minister of Sports Abdul Ilah bin Saad Al-Dallak presided over the inauguration of the 2024 Junior and Cadet Fencing World Championships at the Arena Hall of King Saud University in Riyadh, representing the Minister of Sport and Chairman of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee (SOPC), Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal.
The prestigious event witnessed the presence of key dignitaries, including Saudi Fencing Federation President and Supreme Organizing Committee Chairman of the Championships, Ahmed Alsabban, International Fencing Federation (FIE) Vice President Abdelmoneim El-Husseiny, and SOPC Board Member as well as President of the Saudi Equestrian Federation (SAEF), Prince Abdullah bin Fahd bin Abdullah.
The inauguration marked the commencement of a significant sporting spectacle, underscoring Saudi Arabia's commitment to promoting and hosting international sporting events that showcase talent and foster global sportsmanship.
