Muscat, October 12, 2023, Assistant Minister of Culture, Rakan bin Ibrahim Al-Touq, represented Saudi Arabia in the 27th GCC Ministers of Culture meeting in Muscat, Oman, on behalf of Culture Minister Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan. The meeting covered various topics, including the cultural strategy for GCC countries, joint cultural events, cultural statistics, tourism-culture collaboration, translation initiatives, international cultural cooperation, and the preservation of societal values. The meeting also addressed the upcoming session, to be chaired by Qatar. Several recommendations and decisions were made during the discussions.
