Aston Martin Aramco F1 Team reveals AMR24 for 2024 season

The Aston Martin Aramco Formula One® Team unveiled its highly anticipated challenger for the 2024 season, the AMR24, marking a significant day for the renowned automotive brand. Joining the debut of the AMR24 are two new additions to the Aston Martin lineup: the new Vantage road car and the Aston Martin Vantage GT3, representing a trio of groundbreaking reveals.

Adorned in its iconic racing green livery, embellished with Aramco title partner branding, the AMR24 signifies a compelling evolution from its predecessor, which propelled the team to eight podium finishes and 280 points in the previous season. While maintaining the team's established design philosophy, the AMR24 introduces numerous enhancements, with the majority of components being newly developed for the 2024 campaign. These advancements have resulted in a lighter, more aerodynamically efficient race car, engineered to excel across a diverse range of circuits.

Team Principal Mike Krack expressed pride in unveiling the AMR24, emphasizing the collective effort of the team in its development at the new AMR Technology Campus. Krack articulated the team's goal for the upcoming season, aiming to secure consistent points finishes, podiums, and ultimately contend for their maiden victory in the distinctive green livery.

Technical Director Dan Fallows elaborated on the meticulous approach taken in refining the AMR24, describing it as a significant evolution from its predecessor. Notable enhancements include a redesigned front wing and over-wheel winglets to optimize airflow management, as well as a comprehensive overhaul of the sidepods and bodywork to enhance aerodynamic performance.

Underpinning the AMR24's performance is a push-rod suspension layout at both the front and rear, meticulously engineered to optimize performance and aerodynamic efficiency. Fallows emphasized the importance of continuous development in maximizing downforce generation, particularly through the optimization of the car's floor design.

Drivers Lance Stroll and Fernando Alonso conveyed their excitement and optimism for the upcoming season, highlighting the team's progress and aspirations for further success. Stroll emphasized the team's hunger for progress, while Alonso commended the team's achievements on and off the track, expressing anticipation for the challenges ahead.

In addition to the AMR24, Aston Martin unveiled two new models engineered for driving enthusiasts: the new Vantage road car and the Aston Martin Vantage GT3 race car. These models represent the epitome of performance and precision, embodying Aston Martin's commitment to excellence on both the road and the track.
