Aston Martin debuts Vantage road car alongside Vantage GT3 for racing

The debut of the new Vantage road car coincides with the unveiling of the spectacular Vantage GT3, signaling Aston Martin's dedication to producing world-class sports cars and demonstrating their capabilities on the racetrack.

Marco Mattiacci, Global Chief Brand and Commercial Officer of Aston Martin, emphasized the brand's commitment to excellence in both road and race cars. He highlighted the close relationship between Aston Martin's road and race programs, leveraging talent, experience, and knowledge from Formula 1® and Aston Martin Performance Technologies to develop the Vantage GT3.

Descended from championship-winning predecessors, the Vantage GT3 is attracting top GT racing teams globally, with aspirations to dominate the world's greatest endurance races.

Built upon the successful Vantage GTE and GT3 cars, the Vantage GT3 shares its mechanical architecture with the new Vantage road car. With an all-new aerodynamic package, revised suspension, and advanced electronics, the Vantage GT3 promises world-beating performance.

Complying with FIA GT3 class regulations, including the LMGT3 category, the Vantage GT3 will compete in prestigious GT series worldwide, showcasing its capabilities on various circuits.

The collaboration between Aston Martin Racing and Aston Martin Performance Technologies led to significant upgrades in the Vantage GT3, addressing handling characteristics and enhancing drivability for professional and amateur drivers.

Visually striking, the Vantage GT3 combines the design language of the new Vantage road car with aggressive aerodynamics optimized for GT3 racing. Extensive use of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) ensured aerodynamic performance while adhering to FIA regulations.

The Vantage GT3's widespread eligibility has attracted partner teams globally, with projections of up to 30 Vantage GT3s competing by the end of the 2024 season.

With an illustrious racing heritage, the Vantage name is synonymous with GT racing success, and the new Vantage GT3 is poised to continue this tradition, competing in iconic races such as the Nürburgring 24 Hours, Spa-Francorchamps 24 Hours, and the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
