Madinah, August 19, 2024 — As part of the cultural enrichment activities organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, participants in the 44th King Abdulaziz International Competition for Memorization, Recitation, and Interpretation of the Holy Quran visited the King Fahd Glorious Qur'an Printing Complex in Madinah today. This visit marked a significant moment following the completion of both the qualifying rounds and the final competition stages, where 174 contestants from 123 countries have showcased their skills.
During the visit, participants toured various departments of the King Fahd Glorious Qur'an Printing Complex. Officials provided detailed explanations about the complex's comprehensive efforts in preserving the Holy Quran, which include its meticulous printing, publication, translation into multiple languages, and thorough review and proofreading processes. This tour offered the participants an in-depth understanding of the complex's role in ensuring the accurate and widespread dissemination of the Holy Quran.
At the conclusion of the visit, the complex presented translated copies of the Holy Quran to the visiting participants. The guests expressed their profound admiration for the Kingdom's commitment to the preservation and distribution of the Holy Quran. They highlighted the significant role of the King Fahd Glorious Qur'an Printing Complex, which prints and distributes millions of copies globally, as a testament to Saudi Arabia’s dedication to spreading the teachings of the Holy Book.
The participants also extended their prayers for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. They sought blessings for their continued efforts in supporting and spreading the message of the Holy Quran, recognizing their leadership and commitment to the sacred text. The visit underscored the Kingdom's ongoing efforts to honor and uphold the teachings of the Holy Quran through both practical and spiritual means.
