The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque prepared a number of services to accompany these pilgrims. These services provide believers and tourists with the opportunity to pray in an atmosphere that is tranquil and comforting.
In the Prophet's Mosque, the provision of refreshing Zamzam water around the clock is one of the most obvious manifestations of the mosque's concern for the people who come to worship and those who come to visit. The Zamzam Water Department oversees the daily supply of 300 tons of Zamzam water, which tankers transport from its source in Makkah, to ensure its proper maintenance at all times. The Zamzam Water Department transfers this water to approved tanks, and laboratories conduct daily tests on randomly selected samples.
A number of additional procedures include cooling, filling, and cleaning thousands of water coolers located in the male and female sections of the Prophet's Mosque, as well as replenishing these coolers according to a predetermined schedule. The increasing number of pilgrims on their way to perform the Hajj is driving these efforts and the quantity of water provided. Another aspect of the religious care that pilgrims receive is the use of umbrellas in the Prophet's Mosque's courtyards, which have a distinctive design and gorgeous formations. 250 umbrellas cover the Prophet's Mosque's courtyards during the day. These umbrellas protect worshippers from the sun, particularly during the summer months, and reduce the likelihood that they will slide when it rains. Each umbrella also includes a water drainage system.
The Prophet's Mosque can accommodate over 228,000 people when these umbrellas are fully open, accommodating more than 900 worshippers each. The religious building places these umbrellas throughout its outer courtyards. Each umbrella stands 15 meters tall and weighs forty tons, adorned with a gold-plated copper crown and lance design. A thousand different lighting modules load each umbrella. The umbrellas incorporate 436 mist fans as an additional feature, which cool the courtyards by blending cold air and water mist.
thus cause decrease in heat that it becomes comfortable atmosphere for praying in; friends can still bubble during summer selves petrified. How is it during Ramadan, as that floor at the Prophet’s Mosque along with its surroundings that part which happens to be constructed from white marble) significantly plays a vital role towards maintaining low temperatures during summer seasons. We specially imported this special stone for the Two Holy Mosques during its construction. This stone is special as it reflects not just sunlight but also heat.
Each piece of marble is 120 centimeters long, 40 centimeters wide, and 5 centimeters thick; some are 120 centimeters by 60 centimeters. Because of this stone's ability to take in moisture during the night and then expel it during the day, it effectively retains its temperature at a stable level. Additionally, the Prophet's Mosque and the courtyards surrounding it utilize this marble in a variety of prayer areas. Owing to its rarity, the Prophet's Mosque frequently removes and reinstalls it for expansion and maintenance purposes, ensuring that the Qibla always points forward.
