In a recent announcement, Audi Middle East and its exclusive partner in Qatar, Q-Auto L.L.C, have revealed the handover of two Audi RS 6 Performance and one RS 7 Performance models to the esteemed Lusail International Circuit in Qatar. This gesture coincides with the debut of Audi RS models in the country, following a significant 24-month agreement between Q-Auto L.L.C and Lusail International Circuit, underscoring Audi's dedication to bolstering motorsport in Qatar. As part of the agreement, Q-Auto L.L.C assumes the role of the Official Transportation and Events Support Partner.
This collaboration not only marks the introduction of these high-performance vehicles but also signifies a major advancement in the Audi Qatar product portfolio. The designated models will serve as race control vehicles at the circuit, featuring special livery to showcase the safety capabilities of the Audi RS 6 Performance and RS 7 Performance.
The RS 6 Performance, propelled by the formidable 4.0 TFSI twin-turbo V8 engine, boasts an impressive acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds, delivering 630hp of torque to the quattro all-wheel-drive system. With its advanced features such as HD Matrix LED headlights, a wider body with flared wheel arches, and luxurious Valcona leather sports seats, the RS 6 Performance offers a blend of performance and sophistication.
Similarly, the RS 7 Performance is a powerhouse engineered to deliver an unparalleled driving experience, equipped with a potent 4.0 TFSI engine and an eight-speed tiptronic transmission. Boasting 463 kW and 850 Nm of torque, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 3.4 seconds. Featuring distinctive design elements and advanced technologies, including the Audi drive select dynamic handling system, the RS 7 Performance seamlessly combines power and luxury.
To commemorate the handover, Audi Qatar organized an exclusive event at the Lusail International Circuit, offering attendees the opportunity to test drive various Audi Sport models.
