Riyadh, February 18, 2024, A high-ranking delegation from the civil aviation sector is embarking on official visits to the Republic of Singapore, the People’s Republic of China, and the United States of America from February 19 to February 29, 2024. Led by Abdulaziz Al-Duailej, President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, the delegation aims to explore avenues for collaboration on air connectivity, economic growth, and opportunities aligned with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
These visits form a crucial component of Saudi Arabia's endeavors to bolster the role of the air transport sector in its national economy and attract investors from across the globe. They also provide a platform to assess qualitative investment prospects in civil aviation and showcase the Kingdom's initiatives aimed at advancing the sector, with the overarching goal of enhancing travel options, boosting tourism, and fostering cultural and commercial exchanges between nations.
The delegation's itinerary commences in the Republic of Singapore, where President Al-Duailej will participate in the Changi Aviation Summit and the Singapore Air Show. Subsequently, in the United States, President Al-Duailej is scheduled to partake in the International Helicopter Exhibition in Anaheim. Alongside these engagements, Al-Duailej will engage in discussions with government officials and meet with CEOs of civil aviation companies in each country. The visits will also incorporate round table meetings with industry leaders to showcase the latest achievements and unique opportunities outlined in the Saudi Aviation Strategy.
