The reception provided both leaders an opportunity to discuss the robust and enduring bilateral ties between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. Key highlights of their discussions included the initiatives overseen by the Security Coordination Committee, a body formed under the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council to enhance collaboration in security and intelligence.
