The event includes the showcasing of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabian Heritage Commission, wherein we will be showcasing exhibits that epitomize the history, culture, and landmarks of the kingdom.
To give the guests an experience in history, items from Saudi Arabia will be displayed along with live craft performances by Saudi artists and accompanied by replicas of archeological sites.
20 June, 2024, Beijing. Today in China, the Beijing International Book Fair opened and runs until 23 June. The Saudi Heritage Commission is one of the organizations participating in this event. With the help of the Commission, travelers will have the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the history of the Kingdom, its diverse culture, the historical landmarks that are significant, and the overall relevance of the Kingdom's history. The exhibition's dedicated pavilion honoring the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will provide visitors with a unique historical experience.
The Commission's involvement entails the presentation of one-of-a-kind archeological reproductions that reflect the Kingdom's cultural and historical richness, which spans thousands of years. The Commission also displays many different kinds of Saudi handicrafts, such as Arabic calligraphy, the production of prayer beads and Sadu weaving among others. This is where Saudi artists will demonstrate how these crafts are actually made. Besides, there will be several exhibit boards shedding the light on the various as well as long history of the Kingdom.
The Commission's participation in the BIBF is part of the Kingdom's overall involvement in a variety of international forums. This participation aims to highlight and introduce the Kingdom's heritage to an audience from all over the world. The Kingdom is continuing its efforts to improve cultural awareness and conserve the nation's history.
