Bentley’s global'Extraordinary ''Women'program continues to expand with the coming selection of extraordinary scholars, cluding s scholars from Dar Al-Hekma University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, passing a week-long visit to Bentley’s headquarters in Crewe, UK, as the final stage of their bespoke mentorship ogram. The'Extraordinary ''Women'program is designed to inspire the coming generation ofomanish gifts f from the fields of technology, engineering, design, and business and encourage youthful ladies to consider careers in STEM and automotive. Building upon the success of the initial edition, the 2023 program has brought together eight scholars and eight instructors from Saudi Arabia and the UK. After witnessing a thorough selection process before this time in collaboration with Bentley's mate universities, the chosen scholars were also assigned an especially chosen tutor, known as a Bentley Pioneer, for regular engagements ahead of the visit to Bentley’s installations. While at the brand’s headquarters, they went behind the scenes of Bentley’s manufacturing operations, met with elderly automotive leaders, and pitched ideas to a panel of Bentley experts.
The Saudi settlers, who were introduced to their mentees in May during an intimate luncheon at the Ritz-Carlton Jeddah, were represented by Mishaal Ashemimry, aerospace mastermind and author of MISHAAL Aerospace; Noha Zagzoug, a member of the Women in Leadership Deliver( WILD) Network; and Nicola Gough from Bentley Motor’s product strategy platoon. The four Dar al-Hekma University scholars involved were Nada Ayman Alzahrani, majoring in computer science and guided by Mishaal Ashemimry; Sarah Nahill Alrawi, majoring in finance and guided by Noha Zagzoug; and Reem Mohammed Alsamkari, majoring in cyber security and guided by Nicola Gough. Speaking on her part as one of the settlers, Noha Zagzoug said, "I'm truly thankful to be a part of a program that aims to inspire and develop the coming generation of youthful womanish leaders. Not only does it give exceptional guidance and mentorship, but it also offers scholars the chance to explore and learn before they embark on their new path. This program is necessary in helping them develop the necessary chops to succeed on both their professional and particular peregrinations. ”
