24 June 2024, Madinah.Between Dhul-Qidah 1 and Dhul-Hijjah 14, 1445 AH, the Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifa saw 1,403,640 visitors, according to a statement issued today by the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah. The government claims that Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifa is 330 square meters in size and can accommodate 800 people in an hour, with an average visitor remaining for ten minutes. A total of 762,101 male visitors were sighted alongside 641,539 female visitors. This includes Da’wah, Public Relations, Guidance, and Research Departments. Four policies are in place to regulate the number of visitors to Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifa as claimed by the administration.

This involves confirming appointments using Tawakkalna and Nusuk systems, guiding worshippers to specific waiting areas within the Prophet’s Mosque by scanning their QR codes, and allowing entry into Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifa. Hamid Gaballa, general manager of the Haj and Umrah Travel Office, informed the Saudi Gazette that the entire naql system has been automated. The offices will have their own accounts and the pilgrims’ names will be entered into the system. In the past, they worked with four naql companies –Saja, Samah, Isra and Shahd- but now the service has been centralized. Saudi Airlines will not necessarily be the only company involved but the quality and efficiency of services will undoubtedly improve.

Every office will need only one person who will also be the link between it and the Ministry of Pilgrimage and Hajj. Assistant Secretary-General of the Regions that participate in the program will not have as much freedom as before. The computers installing naql systems have arrived at the Ministry so that they can be installed in all its offices in the cities. Haj and Umrah Pilgrimage Company announced its readiness to prepare all the database information and help create a file for each tourist office
