Jeddah, October 19, 2024 — Falconry, a time-honored heritage deeply ingrained in the culture of the Arabian Peninsula, has been a cherished tradition passed down through generations. This remarkable sport not only defines the region’s identity but also serves as a source of inspiration for countless poetic works, celebrating the bond between humans and these majestic birds of prey.


One notable figure in this realm is poet and falconer Hasher Al-Otaibi, hailing from Al-Lith Governorate in the Makkah Region. Since the 1990s, Al-Otaibi has been captivated by the art of falconry, finding both solace and exhilaration in the pursuit of this noble sport.
