Abha, October 10, 2023, Land patrols by the Border Guards in the Asir region were successful in capturing 12 smugglers who were attempting to smuggle 84 kg of khat. All required legal procedures were followed after the arrests, and the drugs that were seized have been given to the proper authorities for future action. Security officials are requesting that the public call 911 in Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Areas and 999 in the remaining regions of the Kingdom to report information about drug smuggling or selling.
