Border Guards in Madinah Region Rescue Child from Drowning in Yanbu

On September 15, 2024, the Border Guards in Yanbu rescued a child from drowning in Yanbu Governorate waters; the child is now stable after receiving on-site first aid and hospital care.

On September 15, 2024, search and rescue teams from the Border Guards in Yanbu, situated in the Madinah region, successfully saved a child who was drowning while swimming in the Yanbu Governorate's waters. The child was quickly provided with first aid on the scene and subsequently taken to a hospital for further treatment. The child’s condition is now stable. The General Directorate of Border Guards advises the public to adhere to maritime safety protocols, stay informed about weather conditions, exercise caution during adverse weather, ensure vessels are seaworthy before departure, and contact 911 in the Makkah and Eastern regions or 994 elsewhere in the Kingdom during emergencies.
