Boutique Group joins ITB Berlin, showcasing Saudi Arabia's luxury hospitality

Riyadh, February 28, 2024, Boutique Group, the esteemed purveyor of ultra-luxury hospitality experiences within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has disclosed its forthcoming participation at ITB Berlin, the esteemed global travel trade show. In a press release disseminated today, the group expressed its eagerness to utilize this prominent platform to underscore its unwavering commitment to preserving Saudi Arabia's rich cultural heritage while reimagining the luxury hospitality landscape.

Attending ITB Berlin as an integral part of the Saudi Tourism Authority's delegation, Boutique Group aims to build upon the accolades garnered in the previous year, where the Authority's exhibit was distinguished as the 'Best Exhibitor' in the esteemed Best of the Best category, outshining 5,500 exhibitors from 161 nations at the 2023 edition.

During this year's event, Boutique Group anticipates engaging with over 90,000 attendees representing 180 countries and regions, offering them a captivating glimpse into its portfolio of historically and culturally significant palaces undergoing transformation into opulent luxury hotels.

Each palace within the portfolio encapsulates a distinct narrative; from the illustrious Red Palace, a pioneering concrete structure once inhabited by King Saud bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, to the award-winning Tuwaiq Palace, a masterpiece designed by renowned German architect Frei Otto in collaboration with Buro Happold and Omrania architectural and engineering firms.

Furthermore, visitors will be captivated by the renowned Al Hamra Palace in Jeddah, initially conceived as a royal abode for King Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud before being repurposed as a guest palace.

Speaking on behalf of Boutique Group at the event, Chief Hospitality Officer Marco Franck expressed enthusiasm, stating, "Boutique Group is honored to participate in ITB Berlin, showcasing the unparalleled hospitality experiences we are curating within the Kingdom. Our presence alongside the Saudi Tourism Authority reaffirms our dedication to spotlighting Saudi Arabia's rich cultural legacy."

Franck emphasized, "We invite attendees to join us at ITB Berlin to uncover the distinctive fusion of tradition and modernity that epitomizes Boutique Group's luxury hospitality offerings. As Saudi Arabia embarks on its journey to welcome the world, we take pride in leading the charge, highlighting the Kingdom's finest offerings. Personally, this represents an opportunity to further build upon the extraordinary experiences that have deepened my connection to Saudi Arabia's remarkable evolution into a premier luxury tourism destination."

As a subsidiary of Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund, Boutique Group aligns with the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Culture's endeavors to foster the industry's growth, projected to yield $6 trillion in investment opportunities by 2030.

Visitors to Boutique Group's exhibit at ITB Berlin can expect to gain insights into the group's commitment to responsible and sustainable luxury tourism, talent cultivation, and Saudi Arabia's ambitious agenda for economic diversification.
