The award recognizes the distinctive architectural design of Bujairi Terrace, which incorporates authentic 300-year-old mud brick methods in the traditional Najdi architectural style. The design seamlessly blends the historical and cultural heritage of Diriyah with modern techniques, emphasizing creativity and sustainability. Bujairi Terrace, opened in December 2022, has become a popular attraction, attracting over one million visitors in its first six months. The 15,000 sqm dining district features globally renowned restaurants and cafes, including Michelin-starred brands. It contributes to Diriyah's transformation into a global cultural capital aligned with Saudi Vision 2030.
