King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has issued a decree to host 1,000 pilgrims from the Gaza Strip who are from the families of martyrs and the wounded to perform Hajj this year.
The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance oversees the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Guests Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit, which now has the capacity to accommodate a total of 2,000 Palestinian pilgrims.
The Minister of Islamic Affairs expressed gratitude to the King and the Crown Prince for their continued concern and support for the Palestinian people, stating that this gesture helps alleviate the suffering of the Palestinians in Gaza.

King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, has issued a royal decree to host a thousand pilgrims from the Gaza Strip who are from the families of martyrs and the wounded under the caption “Hosting Initiative for the Families of Martyrs and the Wounded from the Gaza Strip. These pilgrims will be performing the Hajj this year. The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance oversees the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Guests Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit, which now has the capacity to accommodate a total of 2,000 Palestinian pilgrims. This brings the total number of pilgrims to 2,000.On this occasion, Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh, Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, who oversees the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Guests Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
It is a magnificent royal gift that represents their continued concern and care for the Palestinian people, as well as the Kingdom's consistent support for the Palestinian cause at all levels. The minister extended his congratulations to them on this wonderful royal gift. He made the observation that the extraordinary hospitality helps to lessen the agony that the Palestinians in Gaza are experiencing. Further, he stressed that this humanitarian action is no stranger to the Kingdom, which had supported the Palestinian people since the late founder King Abdulaziz until the present and remains so under the supervision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, together with HRH the Crown Prince. This demonstrates, according to the minister, that they continue to show concern for the Islamic nation in general and the Palestinian struggle in particular. He continued to explain that the Kingdom's leadership's humanitarian gesture, allowing the families of Gaza's dead and injured to participate in the Hajj pilgrimage, is a continuation of the Kingdom's ongoing efforts and support for the Palestinian brothers.
Moreover, the minister stated that the ministry has been preparing to welcome guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, who are the families of the martyrs and the injured in Palestine, since the issuance of the royal decree. The ministry has devised a plan for this purpose, involving several committees tasked with providing care and facilitating their easy and convenient Hajj. In addition to this, he prayed that the Almighty Allah would protect the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince, bless their efforts, accept the pilgrims' Hajj, and recognize the praiseworthy deeds they had performed.
