Tripoli, January 21, 2024, Ahmed Al-Shehri, the Chargé d'Affaires of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Embassy in Libya, and Musa Al-Koni, the deputy of the Libyan Presidential Council, met today.
Al-Koni underlined throughout the conference how important it is for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to play a role in the Arab world in fostering peace in nations that are unstable. He conveyed confidence in the Kingdom's cooperative endeavors with interested parties to break the impasse in Libyan politics.
Al-Shehri emphasized that Libya will continue to receive support from the Kingdom for the Presidential Council's efforts to bring stability and steer the country toward the intended election process.
