Jeddah, December 7, 2023, President Ramzan Kadyrov of the Chechen Republic touched down in Jeddah yesterday to embark on the sacred Umrah pilgrimage.
Upon his arrival at King Abdulaziz International Airport, President Kadyrov was warmly received by Prince Badr bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Governor of Makkah, alongside other dignitaries and officials. The visit underscores the significance of the spiritual journey to the holy city of Jeddah and reflects the longstanding cultural and diplomatic ties between the Chechen Republic and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
