Riyadh, Aug 18, 2023, Lieutenant-General Fayyad bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, the Chief of General Staff, graced the closing ceremony of the Saudi joint forces' preparedness drill on Thursday. The objective of the exercise was to achieve the Initial Operational Capability (IOC) stage in line with the Ministry of Defense's approved operational model for development. In a remarkable display of military coordination and strategic planning, a rigorous two-week exercise recently took place at the esteemed Headquarters of the Joint Forces and Diriyah Joint Operations Center. This exercise witnessed the active involvement of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces and their various branches, showcasing their unwavering commitment to preparedness and seamless collaboration.
