- An exhibition showcasing traditional Chinese culture was presented by the office of Chinese Hajj pilgrims' affairs in Jeddah on June 7, 2024.

- The exhibition featured over two hundred pieces of artwork showcasing various aspects of Chinese culture, including paintings, calligraphy, paper cuttings, and pyrography, as well as displays on Chinese cuisine and the historical past of Islam in China.
"The 7th of June, 2024, Jeddah. The office of Chinese Hajj pilgrims' affairs hosted an exhibition that highlighted traditional Chinese culture at the headquarters of the Chinese Hajj mission. During the event, the Chinese ambassador to Saudi Arabia was among the attendees. In Jeddah, Chang Hua serves as the Consul-General. Wang Qimin, Vice President of the China Islamic Association, Adiljan Haj Kerim, Head of the Chinese Pilgrims' Affairs Office, representatives from the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, and a number of officials from the Hajj mission were present.
During the exhibition, Ambassador Chang highlighted the joint efforts of the Chinese embassy in Saudi Arabia and the consulate-general in Jeddah to provide comprehensive services and facilities to Chinese pilgrims. He clarified that these efforts, carried out in cooperation with the relevant Saudi Arabian authorities, aim to make pilgrims' participation in their religious ceremonies enjoyable. The ambassador expressed optimism that Chinese pilgrims will contribute to promoting a favorable image of Muslim pilgrims by exhibiting the exceptional behavior of Chinese citizens.
He also wished the Chinese pilgrims a blessed Hajj and expressed the hope that this spiritual journey will lead to further cultural exchange and understanding between the peoples of Saudi Arabia and China, who are friends with one another. The ambassador expressed his admiration for the Saudi Arabian government's efforts to provide excellent services to pilgrims, as evidenced by their kind reception and hospitality. In addition, he praised the administration for properly assigning all of the necessary resources in order to guarantee that the pilgrims would be able to perform their rites in a calm and orderly manner. The exhibition had over two hundred pieces of artwork that displayed many aspects of Chinese culture.
These included paintings, calligraphy, paper cuttings, and pyrography, among other forms of artistic expression. The artwork highlighted various cultural practices such as tea-making, embroidery, paper cutting, historical records, pyrography, self-defense skills, Chinese and Arabic calligraphy, and painting. The display showcased some of the most popular Chinese dishes, such as zongzi, dumplings, noodles, and fried cakes, along with essential Chinese terms. In addition, it has manuscripts that illustrate the historical past of Islam in China, as well as a video that highlights Chinese Muslims' everyday lives, social customs, cultural traditions, and economic aspects.
